Wingfield Estate is an amazing destination.  Its place in Caribbean History is unique.  Wingfield Estate is set in the picturesque foot hills of the central mountain range at the 400ft level.  It is situated above Old Road Town, the first English settlement in the Caribbean.  Wingfield is conveniently placed adjacent to one of the Caribbean’s major destinations, Caribelle Batik at Romney Manor.  Wingfield Estate also hosts the site office for the newly established and popular zip line.

It is a photographers dream, at one with nature and history.  It continues to be a work in process with archeological digs continuing with visitor and local participation.

Wingfield, commencing 1st October 2010 will offer orientation, interpretive tours, gift shop, snacks and beverages, reflective area as well as the remarkable masonry and buildings that contributed to the sugar and rum industry for over 250 years.
